Kidney Detoxification with the Help of Renal Disorders Treatment in Ayurveda!

in Kidney Disease

The allopathic treatment of the disease can lead to renal failure even when there is slight damage in the renal. Hence, opting for the Ayurveda is always a better strategy to maximizing the kidney function. Ayurveda has several ways through which the kidneys and other organs can rejuvenate themselves. The herbs in our nature are examples to prove that the kidney function can be rejuvenated naturally.

Detoxifying kidneys through the ways of Ayurveda

Through juicing and detox diets, it is possible to purge of toxins and wastes that our body accumulates. Our modern-day lifestyle has brought us with a high level of toxicity, and we have reluctantly adopted the modern urban lifestyle. And resultant, our body has got loaded with too much toxin.

The kidney detoxification is an initiative of Karma Ayurveda Health in initializing the filtration capacity of the kidneys. The kidneys are constantly working to filter the waste and excrete it along with the urine. But when they become diseased or damaged, the waste build-up from the food and the breakdown of the cells and tissues gets deposited in the blood.

Do you really need a detox diet?

Ayurvedacharya knows the role of the kidneys in maintaining the health of the entire body. They know various cleansing and detoxification rituals or remedies to lower the production of Ama. Increasing water intake, changing lifestyle habits, and dietary intakes, can easily help to treat renal disorders treatment through Ayurveda.

According to Ayurvedacharyas, the kidneys are self-cleansing, if you are following a healthy lifestyle and diet. The kidneys, when they do not work properly, cannot filter 200 liters of blood each day as they normally do, which stays in the blood.

So, it is quite necessary to detox the kidney with the help of a detox diet. Many are already aware of the worthiness of kidneys, and so they have turned their way to healthy living. If you have not, it’s your turn now.

Ayurvedic herbs for kidney detox

There are no quick fixes to solve your entire problem in the blink of an eye. You need to be patient while the herbs work on you. First, simplify your lifestyle habits in the event of kidney damage.  There are certain herbs used in the renal disorders treatment in Ayurveda that can help detoxify and cleanse the mutravaha srotas, the urinary channels of the kidneys. You can adopt them in your life even if you don’t have any kidney problems and otherwise healthy, this will reduce the risk of kidney damage in the future.

  1. Brahmi

It is the best known ayurvedic herb that is used to settle Rasa, Virya, and Vipaka. It is used to treat urinary problems by removing pitta from the renal channels. This supports the filtering capacity of the kidneys.

  1. Punarnava

Characterized as Rasayana, this herb is highly recommended for liver, urinary, and kidney-related conditions. The adequate consumption of this herb can help all the doshas level, while the excess may trigger Vata.

Its antioxidant property reduces oxidative stress and nullifies the cells that can damage a healthy immune system. If you have renal disorders or renal failure, taking Punarnava is as efficient as any other allopathic treatment.

  1. Manjishtha

Manjishtha is a well-known herb that is recommended to those with exaggerated Pitta levels. If the Pitta level goes high, taking this herb will help soothe the inflammation in the kidneys. Even if you have a kidney stone, taking this herb will help to dissolve it.

Take this herb if you want to detox your kidneys naturally.

The diet for kidney cleansing

There are certain dietary measures you can adapt to support the natural detoxification process. An ayurvedic diet to detoxify kidney emphasizes on making subtle changes like increasing fluid intake, eating fresh food at home, including healthy vegetables and fruits in the diet, and taking kidney detox diet.

Include foods that are diuretics in nature, such as melons, watermelon, carrots, and other vegetables or fruits. These foods promote urination and help to reduce water retention.

The kidney detox tea made from the herbs that can balance Kapha and Pitta is also helpful. For instance, coriander leaves, parsley, asparagus, ginger, garlic, fennel seeds, should be included in every meal.
