A neurological condition of the brain that is causing many symptoms apart from headaches is known as migraine. It causes serious, intense and devastating pain in the specific area of the brain. This pain can be accompanied by other symptoms such as nausea, speech impediment, and sensitivity to brightness and loud noises. Generally, migraine is passed from a parent to its child and may start to affect from childhood to early adulthood.

The prevalence of migraine is more likely to occur in women than in men. The diagnosis of migraine is estimated by considering the causes, symptoms and clinical history. For treatment, you will have to be specifically symptomatic as many people may get confused with a major headache or cervical pain. Through this blog of Karma Ayurveda Health, you will know the different yoga asana to curb the symptoms of migraine. Migraine is classified into two different categories:

  • Classic migraine: It is also known as a migraine with aura. This makes visionary changes like having black dots in front of you, zig zag vision and numbness all of a sudden. Stammering also becomes one of the problems. The complications may last from ten to thirty minutes.
  • Common migraine: It is also known as a migraine without an aura. It is a complicated category as people bearing this may tend to have throbbing pain on either side f the head and may feel fatigued and an urge to vomit frequently.

These are the major type that differentiates a migraine from headache. Though it is an irreversible inherited by the person bearing it still Yoga can help in curbing the symptoms naturally. Many around the world have started to believe in the ethics of Ayurveda because it is a chemical-free method. A recent neurological theory suggests that practicing Yoga can help in getting rid of the symptoms of migraine potentially. People who followed the ethics of yoga have got relief from the migraine pain. According to the statement of Dr. Rohit Bhatia, AIMS (All India Institute of Medical Science) half of the patients who were on medication and yoga together, have been experiencing tremendous changes.
